Design
Among the available colors are silver, black and green. All of them look very interesting and non-standard. Even our “Black Magnet” can hardly be called black, it is more graphite gray, but it looks cool.
The dimensions of the smartphone are not small 76×168 mm, but this is due to the presence of a huge 6.8” display. And the thickness is very small, but only in the area of the camera block it reaches 8.8 mm. But despite the size, TECNO Camon 17P is quite comfortable in the hand, thanks to good ergonomics.
Rounded edges and a very conveniently located power button combined with a fingerprint scanner make it possible to use it even with one hand.
The display itself received a resolution of FullHD + or 2460×1080 pixels and an IPS matrix type.
The maximum brightness is stated at 500 nits, which is enough for use on bright days.
Subjectively, I liked the screen quality, watching videos and browsing social networks is very pleasant. The picture is bright and colorful, but I’m generally silent about clarity, it’s enough.
Filling Tecno Camon 17P
Let’s take a better look at the technical characteristics of the smartphone, because this will determine the comfort of using TECNO Camon 17P for a long time.
Very good 8-core Helio G85 processor with two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores. The graphics are based on the Mali-G52 MC2 chip. With memory here, too, complete order. 128 GB of internal memory, if necessary, can also be expanded with a memory card up to 256 GB, and RAM 4 or 6 GB, depending on the version, which is also quite enough.

But in practice, we can easily play most demanding games, and even more so in ordinary applications, everything works fine.

Of course, sometimes you will have to lower the settings a little, after all, this is not an expensive flagship, but there will be no special problems with games.
By the way, the system is based on Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 proprietary shell.
This is a pretty beautiful and at the same time not loaded operating system. But here they added quite a lot of interesting features that can really be useful, for example:

And for dessert – Camera. Here Tecno made a special emphasis. Most people don’t need useless processor power, but a good camera to capture the best moments or create a beautiful Instagram.

I would like to draw a line and say that Tecno clearly surprised me, they turned out to be a very successful and balanced smartphone with a cool camera, a large screen and very good software, and this is exactly what most buyers need.
Now in stores the price of TECNO Camon 17P is at the level of less than 17 thousand rubles, and at this price, in terms of the totality of parameters, all competitors do not look so good, so I can safely recommend this smartphone.
